Oh great! I hit the brakes a little too hard…AGAIN, and water from our dogs’ water bowls has drenched my wife’s cotton duffle bag…AGAIN. There must be a way to keep water IN the bowls…the dogs need constant access to drinking water too! But keeping a water bowl (in motion) from spilling is nearly impossible thought Cokey Ellerbe for the thousandth time as he mopped up another spill with a soaking wet towel.

Determined to turn his car into a no-spill zone, he looked everywhere for a solution. He found many forms of unattractive, clunky-looking, heavy plastic bowl systems which each required use of a special bowl to function. BUT WAIT A MINUTE, like so many dog lovers, Cokey already owned several spare bowls….and the dogs’ daily use bowls were his “favorites”. He didn’t want more bowls!

Wanting something that he could use to CUSTOMIZE and CONVERT the bowls he already had, Cokey invented the bowlgaiter™ which turns his dogs’ water bowls into spill-fighting super containers. The bowlgaiter™ is a simple device that CONVERTS a typical pet water bowl into a spill-fighting super bowl. Problem solved!

This launched the beginning of Canine Function™, but we’re not finished yet. We will continue working to develop other creative solutions to everyday problems faced by dog enthusiasts everywhere.  Our goal is to provide innovative, useful products that help make the lives of dogs and dog owners perceptibly more trouble free.
